User’s Needs and Challenges:
The 351A Yio Chu Kang Road is a semi-detached residential development located within the Serangoon planning area. The site is under the URA 2-storey envelop control area. The scope was to design and administer the contract of constructing of a 2storey envelops control with a basement. The scope has changed to new erection from Reconstruction after calling for 1st tender process in September 2017. The new vision that the Client have is to create a modern-looking house. He wants to fully maximise the GFA and useable areas in the house. He wants a large area for living and dining area to house his guests. He wants to have the whole attic level designed as the master room.
